We strolled along cobbled streets, sipped coffee in a quaint café, and soaked in the slow pace of life that makes these villages so enchanting. Kefalonia is renowned for its breathtaking beaches, and Myrtos Beach is a standout star. The moment we set eyes on its white pebble shores and turquoise waters, we knew we had found paradise. Myrtos is just the beginning, though. The island is dotted with a plethora of beaches, each with its unique charm. Whether you're seeking solitude or a lively beach scene, Kefalonia has you covered. One of the highlights of our Kefalonia adventure so far, was a visit to the otherworldly Melissani Cave. This underground wonder is home to a serene, turquoise lake surrounded by towering rock formations. We hopped on a rowboat and glided across the crystal-clear waters, while our guide shared the cave's intriguing history and legends. It was a surreal experience, and we left with a sense of wonder. Our journey through Kefalonia has been a dream come true so far, filled with unforgettable moments and enriching experiences.
